2. Making a Purchase & the Contract
To make a purchase you are required to complete our simple checkout process. You will be guided through the checkout and asked to input your data to complete the transaction. Upon placing your order, we will send you an order acknowledgement email; this is to advise you that we have received your order request. When your order is ready to ship, we will then send you a despatch confirmation email. It’s at this point that we accept your order and the contract is formed. We reserve the right to cancel an order should there be an issue with stock levels or payment details, or the identification of a pricing or product description error. All purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology and a secure server.
3. Liability - Purchased Goods
Theme Queen shall not be liable in any way for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the delivery of goods being delayed or prevented or for any other reason beyond our control including the acts of any third parties. Furthermore, in no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever whether arising from loss of data, loss of profits or loss of revenue in connection with the use of this website.
4. Delivery - Purchased Goods
Theme Queen will deliver any goods ordered to the delivery address supplied when submitting an order. Availability permitting, orders will despatched for delivery within the stated time frame. The despatch of goods constitutes our duty of fulfilling the contract. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged item, please contact our customer service team within 7 days. They will be happy to assist you and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable. We do advise you to check goods upon arrival. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries, or for any other reason. If you refuse delivery, please notify our customer service team immediately.
5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges - Purchased Goods
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from Theme Queen. If you are not completely satisfied with the condition of the goods you have purchased then please notify us immediately and return them to us within 14 days for a full refund. Goods must be received in original condition and packaging with all components intact. Ensure that you include full order details otherwise your refund may be delayed. Once your return or exchange has been processed, we will return any monies owed onto the original payment account.
6. Terms and Conditions of Hire
The hire period for all items is 7 days maximum - from the point of receipt of goods to the time of collection by our courier
Any extension to the hire period must be agreed prior to your event - extensions to the hire period may incur additional charges
The items shall at all times remain the property of Theme Queen
The customer is responsible for the care of the items during the hire period from the time of delivery/collection until the items are collected/returned and accepted back into the possession of Theme Queen
All goods will be supplied in a clean, ready to use condition - all items should be returned in an equally clean condition
Failure to return items in a clean condition will result in a 15% charge of the total hire
All breakages/damages/losses discovered on return receipt of the items will be charged accordingly - a list of these charges will be supplied by email with your order confirmation
Delivery and collection
All items can be collected/delivered at the time period agreed in the contact
Upon receipt of the items, the customer must inspect all items and sign a delivery note to accept receipt of the goods. In the event of shortage or damage, it is the customer's responsibility to mark this on the delivery note at the time of delivery. If the customer fails to do this, the items will be deemed to have been delivered in a clean and undamaged condition. Equally, if there is no-one available to check the items, they will be deemed to have been delivered in a clean and undamaged condition
The customer agrees to return the goods/prepare the goods for collection, at the time period specified in the contract. Failure to return/prepare the goods on time will result in an additional 10% charge of the total hire
Some items will be delivered in secure packaging. Items should be returned to us in this packaging to avoid damage to items during transport
Theme Queen accepts no responsibility for any injury or damage caused by the goods hired
7. Customer Email
We never pass your email address or any other personal details on to any company or organisation outside Theme Queen.
